How do payments work?
Standard sessions require a 50% non-refundable retainer, with the rest due by your session date. Mini and custom sessions must be paid in full to reserve your spot. Please note that certain packages may be subject to California state and local sales tax.

When will I get my photos?
Please allow up to two weeks after your session for your images to be ready. Most packages must be picked up in person, while packages with digitals only are delivered through an online gallery.

Where are sessions held?
Most sessions take place in my Sacramento residential studio. I serve families in Sacramento and the surrounding areas, including Roseville, Folsom, Elk Grove, Davis, and nearby communities. Outdoor sessions are offered in Sacramento, Davis, and Carmichael.

When should I book?
I recommend booking about two months before your due date. Once your baby arrives, we’ll schedule the exact day. Early or late arrivals are no problem—there’s flexibility built in.

The best age for newborn photography is 5–13 days. Sessions can still be done up to 4 weeks old, though babies may be more alert.

Newborn sessions follow your baby’s cues—feeding, diaper changes, and snuggles are all part of the process. Session typically last from 2.5 - 3.5 hrs.

Do I need to bring anything?
I provide all outfits and props, and style each session based on your color preferences. If you have something special, let me know ahead of time and I’ll include it.

What if my baby won't settle?
I have a lot of patience, but if baby wont sleep we can take wrapped awake pictures.
